On Oct. 14 students at Copper Hills Elementary will be experiencing a time warp. The school will step back to the 1950s, a time when the pressures of elementary school rarely included the threat of drugs and violence. Donning their 1950’s finest, students will hear a “way-out” anti-drug message from Retro Bill, D.A.R.E. America’s official “Safety Buddy.”

Two assemblies will provide an early kick-off to Red Ribbon Week, which is set for Oct. 25-29. Inspiring the youth of today with the timeless values of yesterday, Retro Bill sports a pompadour that can only be described as a "work of art" and a wardrobe that is 1950's Vegas! Retro Bill has been nationally recognized as a leader in childhood drug and violence prevention.
